Zuluk is a small mountain village located at a height of 10,100 feet in East Sikkim. It lies in the lower Himalayas and sits along the historic Old Silk Route, which once connected India to Tibet. On the Indian side, this ancient trade route begins from Pedong in Kalimpong district. It passes through places like Rhenock, Rongli, Zuluk, Nathang Valley, and Kupup. In the past, traders used this route via Jelepla Pass to reach Chumbi Valley in Tibet and then travel on to Lhasa.

Best Time to Visit Zuluk

The best time to visit is between August and October when the sky is clear, the weather is pleasant, and the hills are full of colorful wildflowers.
